The latest addition to Cabine du Cap is ‘Caracal’ 

Caracal is a four-bedroom eco-masterpiece on a mountain top at Cabine du Cap – the same 175 hectare property as La Cabine and Goshawk’s Nest – just 2,5 hours from Cape Town.

With 360-degree views and a swimming pool on the edge of a cliff, Caracal is fully off the grid with reverse osmosis purified water, solar and gas power. Timber is sustainable Siberian Larch from rarewoods.co.za

Amenities include from  300 TC cotton linen large double-door fridge/freezer, SMEG stove/oven, plumbed ice machine, dish-washer, JURA ‘bean-to-cup’ automatic coffee machine, high-speed internet and bluetooth  music system.

Whilst our rates include breakfast, full catering is also available.

BEDROOM CONFIGURATION

  • Bedrooms 1 and 2 both have their own private terrace, with en-suite bath and shower. Both bedrooms have king-size beds. Bedroom 1 is extra-length.
  • Bedroom 3 has it’s own private terrace, with en-suite bath and shower. The bed configuration can either be a king size XL or two singles XL.
  • Bedroom 4 is a bunk room with 6 single XL bunk beds and en-suite bathroom with shower. 
  • Bedrooms 3 and 4 are in the same wing of the house.  

PROXIMITY

Caracal will have its own private road, allowing guests to be completely separate and private from other guests at the Main Camp.

Caracal will however be close enough to allow one group to book it together with the Main Camp. It is a five minute walk between the two.

You could sleep 18 people comfortably across Caracal and the Main Camp, with an option for two extra stretchers in the Main Camp, making it 20 total.

RATES 

Only one couple or group can book Caracal at any one time. So if a couple books Caracal then the other bedrooms will not be used.

1 bedroom = R6,950 a night, including breakfast for up to two people.

2 bedrooms = R9,500 a night, including breakfast for up to four people.

3 bedrooms = R11,500 a night, including breakfast for up to six people

Bunk room = R600 a night, per bunk bed, including breakfast. The bunk room is for kids, but can be used by adults (XL beds), if all three main bedrooms are included.

1st -15th January 2023 and 15th December 2023 to 15th January 2024

1 bedroom = R14,000 a night, including breakfast for up to two people.

2 bedrooms = R14,000 a night, including breakfast for up to four people.

3 bedrooms = R14,000 a night, including breakfast for up to six people.

Bunk room = R700 a night, per bunk bed, including breakfast. The bunk room is for kids, but can be used by adults (XL beds), if all three main bedrooms are included.

10% discount for three nights or more.

10% discount if booking does not include a Friday or a Saturday night.
