Cabine du Cap includes breakfast and optional catering. Find out more about different meals here.

Found out about our activities available here.

Full facilities are available for self-catering, including oven, stove, fridge and freezer. Pots, pans, plates, utensils etc. are all there. As well as olive oil, balsamic / red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, Tabasco, Worcester sauce, butter, lemons, milk, coffee (Nespresso in cabin and Jura in Caracal), sugar, sweeter, unlimited wood and ice.

Africology toiletries are found throughout and 100% cotton linen and towels.

There is a fairly impressive SPAR in Montagu which sells everything you’ll need.

In terms of refreshments, we have Rupert Wines’ Protea range available (red, white and rosé) as well as Rupert Wines’ Optima red wine, Cape Town gin, Johnny Walker whisky (black) and soft drinks (Diet Coke and Stoney). See the ‘Extras‘ page for more of that.

We have a water purification plant on the property so all water that comes out of the household taps is good to drink. There is also mineral water available for purchase.

We have fridges and ceiling fans and  two swimming pools at the Main Camp (kiddies and large reservoir) and one at Caracal. Whilst these facilities are available, it should be emphasised that this is the Karoo and things can get toasty over the summer months. Please keep in mind for very small children and elderly people. If you’re not sure then please drop us an email to discuss. We have visited the property every month for a few years, with babies in tow.
